Missing Traffic Graph
One of the many developer mailings dealt with traffic issues. It included graphs that tried to minimize the traffic impact of the development, but an important one was missing:
New Revenue? Bad Math.
The latest Yes on W mailer touts the “economic benefit for Pacifica” but the details presented there are wrong and misleading. There are 2 problems with the developer’s claim that Measure W would generate over $3 million in annual new tax revenue for the City.
The REAL Skinny on the Fiscal Impact of Measure W
The Election Code 9212 report can be found on the City’s website, and it evaluates the potential impacts of Measure W, including the possible fiscal effect that passage of the measure could have on the City’s General Fund.
